My hooded drake merganser mount was finally finished. I shot this bird in North Dakota two years ago. Lauey and I were hunting on the south end of a pond and I made a nice shot on this bird as it was flying behind us. The bird was done by BigFoote Taxidermy out of Barronett, Wisconsin. |

I have been fortunate to have gone Ice Fishing 4 times this year. We have not caught any fish on tip-ups yet, however, each time enough panfish were caught to provide a nice meal.

As you know I have been experimenting with venison and moose because I have a FULL freezer of it.
