Captain Carp
~ Mike Lauenstein (4/17/2008 @ 9:35 PM)

Ah... the master at work.

I will never be able to take the Carp title from one Mr. Nic Dittbrenner, but I can sure as hell try. Take a look at a couple of these monsters and I don't care who you are or what you fish for, these bastards are surprisingly fun to wrestle in.

Throw in a nice 22.5" walleye on top of a load of carp, with a couple pushing more than 20 lbs, and you have yourself a nice little evening on the river front. However, I must say that the smell of my net is forever changed for the worse... holy lord, Kristin and I were debating whether we should throw the thing out the window on the way home.

Sorry Jim...

Cheers!

The goal of the trip was fulfilled with this 22.5 'eye!

Same 'eye but still a nice fish!

no comment... and no I don't look like the fish.

Biggest carp to date... and I'm not proud of it.

It was fun... but I can't give Carp fishing a whole lotta love.

Cheers!
