Cam Tracker Bucks
~ Tim Bindl (11/19/2008 @ 12:50 PM)

La Crosse Giant

Technology in the world of hunting has changed the way we scout today. Giants of the night, that travel below our stands are the deer we long to harvest. For me, capturing these giants on camtracker has been the greatest success of my season to date. The first picture was taken last weekend up in La Crosse County on my 3.5 acre property that is just south of town. Just because the lot is small doesn't mean the bucks necessarily are. My lot borders up to 1000 acres of rugged steep hill side, surrounded by picked corn above. I've seen several good bucks this season, but as we all do, we long for one opporunity at the Giants that lurk through the night.

The other two pictures are taken in Central WI by a great friend and hunting partner. These are the latest pictures shot during the November rut. Too our knowledge these bucks are still at large!

Where one season closes, another season begins. Saturday will bring another challenge of the hunt, openning day of deer season. Cold brisk morning, hot cup of coffee, 7 layers of clothing and 1 muzzleloader, I'm set for a great season. Good luck to all and may the deer be plentyful.

Nice deer! I hope you are able to take one of those beasts! Good luck this year with your rifle.

Tim, check out some of these photos from my brother's trail cam. Thiefs, bucks, and bobcats. http://www.crazyoutdoorsmen.com/Journal/ViewJournal.aspx?JID=378

Tim, those are awesome bucks... just hope that the rut is full on and those bad boys are on the move during the day! Good luck this weekend! I will be hoping I see one similar to those up in Vilas County!

Cheers!

That's a good question... I know, I for one did not do anything worthwhile last season. I haven't talked to Bindl for quite some time though!

Cheers!
